Jackson having great season for Knights

Mike Jackson is having an out
standing season as point guard
o f the W artburg C ollege
Knights.
He leads the team in steals
and assists, and is the only player
on the team to have started
each game this year. He is also
known for his strong defensive
play.
“What I’ve liked most about
his season is that he has im
proved throughout the season,”
said Kahseuss Jackson, Mike’s
brother.

makes it hard for his family in
Warm Springs to see him play.

Entry fees for the event
are set at $175 per girls team
and $200 per boys team by
the entry deadline of April 6.
After the deadline the entry
fee will increase by $25 per
team.

bounds per game (thud on the
team)| and 25.6 minutes pet-
game (third on the team).
His field goal percentage is
.521 (third) on the team); and
his free-throw percentage is .754
(fourth.on the team). He is av
eraging 8.1 points per game.
During a recent game Jack-
son had 15 points, two assists, a
blocked shot, and a steal. It was
his 13th double-figure outing of
the year, according to the report
on the game.
