Twenty-nine tribal members participated in the games. Also, two Native American youth who were raised in Warm Springs participated, bringing the local representation to 31 tribal youth. There were two gold medal winners among the local youth. Warm Springs tribal member Jasper Smith won a gold medal in boxing. Klamath tribal member Paige Hurtado-Smith, whose mother is a Warm Springs member, won a gold in wrestling. Josiah Thompson took the silver medal in the boys tournament, age 15-16 year division. Josh Moody won two silver medals in rifle shooting, boys 16-17 divi sion. Tanner Yallup and Craig Smith Jr. were among the players on the boys 15-16 year-old Team Oregon basketball squad, which won silver medal. In all Team Oregon, representing the Native Ameri can tribes o f the state and other tribal youth living in Oregon, won 14 gold medals, three silver medals, and 12 bronze medals at the North American Indig enous Games. The tribal member and area residents who were participated in the Games are as follows: ri Paige Hurtado-Smith won the gold medal in wresting. His brother Joshua also competed in the Games. Athletics 15-16 boys: Devin Brunoe. Athletics 17-19 boys: Thomas Brunoe and Alexis Anguiano. Athletics 20 and over boys: David Fuentes. Athlete/coach 20 and over: Joshua Brunoe. Athletics chaperones: Clifton Brunoe and Rosetta Fuentes. Athletics manager: Jacquelyn Moody. Basketball 13-14 girls: Norene Sampson, Jillisa Suppah, Amanda Squiemphen-Yazzie, Karlen Yallup, Lianna Jim, Merima Made, Lola Dick. Chaperone, Jaylyn Suppah, and coach Joyce Suppah. Basketball 15-16 boys: Craig Smith Jr. and Tan ner Yallup. Basketball 15-16 girls: Kelli Moody, Allee Tewee, Bronte Caldera, Kristi Olney. Basketball 17-19 girls: Yolanda Yallup and Alex andria Anguiano. Boxing 17-19 boys: Jasper Smith and W esley Graybael. Boxing chaperone: Austin Smith. G olf 15-16 boys: Josiah Thompson.
