I Spilyay Tymoo, Warm Springs, Oregon September 29, 2005 Page 5 More Letters to the Editor Donations May this letter find you in good health and good spirit. I write this letter on behalf of a small group of Native Americans (currently 65 of us) here at the Idaho State Correc tional Institution, Idaho Depart ment of Correction. We are a group from various tribes who come together weekly at the Inter-Faith Chapel to keep alive our Native American tra ditions and culture. Most of us are involved with the Native American Sweat Lodge at the prison. We would like to provide more resources to the brothers, and we are writing to ask if you can donate some sorely needed items to our group. The items should be donated to the ISCI Inter-Faith Chapel library and will be made avail able to any interested prisoners. We are looking specifically for: Native books (new or used), Native magazines, newspapers or newsletters, Native videos (VHS and DVD), Native audio CD's or cassette tapes (music, literature, oral history, etc.), Native language courses. Please address all donations, information or questions to: ISCI Inter-Faith Chapel, Les Petersen, religious activities co ordinator, P.O. Box 14, Boise, ID 83707. Of course, if you can think of anything else that would fur ther our goals, we would appre ciate that also. Whether you donate or not, if you can think of any other resources we might pursue (per sonal or organizational) it would be great if you would pass that contact information on to us. We want to thank you, in ad vance, for your time and any help or information you may provide. May the Creator bless you and your relations. Most respect fully, Ron Porter, No. 22562, takota-Sioux.
