The movie will be shown for care providers and counselors from 11 a.m. till noon, and then to the general public at noon to 1 p.m. The movie, by director Hudson Duke White, was filmed in Madras, and chronicles the devastating effect of meth amphetamines on people's lives and the community. The American Association of Retired People (AARP) ( driver safety class will be held from 8 a.m. to noon : Monday and Tuesday, June 13-14 at High Lookee Lodge. The two 4-hour classes qualify participants for auto insur ance discount at age 55. All drivers welcome. $1 0 student fee. Important: Particpants must be in the classroom and ready to start by 8 a.m. on both days, and must attend and participate in all eight hours to qualify for certificate. To attend this call and receive your Certificate of Comple tion, register by calling 317-0610 and speak to Ruth, who will place your name on the class roster. Walk-ins cannot attend and receive a certificate. Attention veterans: All VFW meetings are on the first Wednesdays of each month, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Veterans Hall. In other recent news at the resort: Nancy Collin of Indian I lealih Services conducted the food handlers certification class for 10 new food servers. Also, there have been 12 tribal mem bers hired for the tourist high season. They arc: Susan Ahem, Crystal Tho mas, MaryAnn lirito, lk-mice Mitchell, Decce Suppah, Zachary Dowty, Laurissa Hellangcr, Teryl Florcndo, Rodney Hstimo, Irene Boise, Amanda Tom and Kenny Sahmc. An additional treat will be a dance performance that will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 29. The performance will be by Adeline Miller and the dance group, Unity.
