The youth attended an eight hour course taught by Eva Montee and 'Janet Bissell. The students were between the ages of 11 and 13. The youth receiving training in this class were Rabe Clements, Mallory Smith, Ashland Danzuka, Sharnell Danzuka, Idelia Cloud, Chelsey Patt, Joanna Williams and Emerson Culps. These trainees were taught safety for infants and children, such as what to do when an in fant or child is choking; how to administer CPR, and various other first-aid practices for chil dren. Each student received a di- Long-time store owner passes away Daniel W.P. Macy, who owned and operated the Warm Springs Market from 1946 un til recently, passed away on Aug. 20. He was 90 years old. Mr. Macy was born on Feb. 6 at Bedford, Ind. to parents Ezra and Ona (Williams) Macy. He graduated from high school in Flandreau, South Da kota in 1932. Mr. Macy went on to DePaul University in Greencastle, Ind., and in 1934 moved to Warm Springs. He owned and operated the general store from 1946 until recently. He enjoyed photography, trav eling and collecting things. He enjoyed his work and also work ing with beads. He is survived by his sons Dan H. Macy, Rob ert W. Macy, Richard Macy and Vinson Macy; daughters Marcia A. Macy; and 26 grandchildren and 50-pIus great-grandchildren. His wife Priscilla, and a son, James, and a sister preceded him in death. ploma and recognition at a small graduation held after the class ended.
