Hurting badly
Hello there, whoever you
are. I wish you knew how lonely
it is in here at times. I never re
alized how much I loved my
family and friends. It hurts so
bad at times, you don't know
what to think.
The only time it really feels
good in here is when you know
you made it through another day
without getting hurt or killed,
and you're one day closer to free
dom. The people you meet in
here are so full of it, they smile
at you and say they care, but in
reality they could care less about
how you feel.
Some guys in here claim to
be your brothers but still stab
you in the back. What kind .of
brother lies to your face, and
talks behind your back?

Fisheries: tribes ask for
(Continued from page 1)
Spending on sportfishing in
Washington totaled nearly $854
million in 2001.
In Idaho, recreational salmon
fishing generated about $90 mil
lion for the state's economy, and
much of the money was spent
in struggling towns like Riggins,
Orofino, Lewiston and Kooskia,
according to Idaho Rivers
United, a nonprofit conserva
tion group based in Boise.
"The aggressive non-breach
strategy had no substance and
the judge was clear," said Allen
Slickpoojr., CRITFC chairman
and a member of the Nez Perce
Tribe.
"Both the federal govern
ment and the tribes found that
policy was a sham with the lag
ging BPA funding. This strategy
has to be backed up with funds
and political support."
I will be so happy to leave
this place and never return be
cause I hate it in here. No one
cares about you when you come
in here. You're just put away and
forgotten so you can pay for
your wrongdoing to the commu
nity or to someone you love.
You write letters asking for
forgiveness from friends, fam
ily, lovers and anyone else that
will hear your cry, but even the
one that you love and care for
so much will in time turn away
from you.
They say that you lose every
thing when you come in here.
Whoever said that is right. I lost
a lot of loved ones since I've
been in here. It hurts to know
that you can't do a thing about
what goes on out there. All I
know is that Tm'doing the best
I can with what I got.
Congratulations

Just knowing that somebody
cared for me out there would
be nice. There are people who
care out there but it never seems
like enough to make a guy feel
better in here.
My life stopped out there

all at once, so I wouldn't have
to look at what my future holds
for me.
So if there is somebody out
there who cares or somebody
that hears this cry, please let
anybody or somebody know
that there is somebody hurting
bad.
I write this to somebody be

lot of people do, in this world.
I say this to somebody, I need
a friend who cares, a friend to
love and care for me, to write
things I need to hear. If you're
