Madras High gym being remodeled The Madras High School Gym is being remodeled and we will not get the chance as fans to watch the Madras Girls Volleyball team for around three to four weeks. The first volleyball game scheduled at home is on October 5. They also are tearing out the old bleachers and putting new ones in that are motorized. The upper bleachers which have been there since they moved to the high school from the old one in I960 are also being replaced. They are taking out the raised area in the gym so that it will give the athletes another practice area as well as more seats for the fans. The girls will have a month long road trip but when they get back the gym will look totally different and they should be pleased.
