Tribal Council The Warm Springs Tribal Coun cil recently appointed committee members to the Tribe's eight execu tive committees. Resolution No. 9565 notes the new committee members. "Whereas, The Tribal Council is the governing body of the Confeder ated Tribes; and, "Whereas, Article IV, Section II of the Tribal Constitution and By Laws provides that the Tribal Coun cil may select such committees as it may deem necessary to properly con duct the business of the Tribal Coun cil; and, "Whereas, There are currently eight such committees including the Culture and Heritage Committee; Education Committee; Fish and Wildlife On-Reservation Committee; Fish and Wildlife Off-Reservation Committee; Health and Welfare Committee; Land UsePlanning Committee; Range, Irrigation and Agriculture Committee and Timber Committee; and, "Whereas, The Tribal Council believes that it is important to give the committee clear statement of their purpose, mission, powers, opera tional guidelines and responsibili ties; and, "Whereas, The Tribal Council hereby appoints the committee mem bers to the current term to serve until P.O.
