The weather couldn't have been better for the annual Pi-Ume-Sha Treaty Days Celebration. Hundreds of dancers, vendors and spectators crowded into Warm Springs to help the Confederated Tribes 'celebrate' the Treaty of 1855. A wide array of food booths, bead and jewelry displays and many other booths offered visitors a wide variety of items for sale. Iced products, especially lemonade and Pepsi, were sold by the truckloads as the sun beat down and warmed everything in sight. Even before the last teepee was taken down, plans were already being made for next year's celebration.
