Howlak Tichum Anthony Lesina Thirty-one year old Anthony Darrell Lesina of Portland died Monday, May 25, 1992 at Emanuel Hospital in Portland as the result of a gunshot wound. He was born in Portland January 22, 1961 to Val K. and Arlene M. (Berry) Lesina. He attended schools in Portland, and resided in both Warm Springs and Portland. Lesina was an enrolled memberof the Siletz Tribe. He served in the U.S. Army from March 15, 1979 until he was honorably dis charged May 21,1980. Dressing ceremonies were held Albert Eighty year old resident of Ma dras, Albert James Wyatt passed away Sunday, May 31, 1992 at St. Charles Medical Center in Bend. He was born August 30, 1911 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Thomas A. and Elvira (Parra) Senoya. Wyatt was employed as a cook at the Tribal Boarding School in Warm Springs. He was a resident of Madras for 48 years after moving here from Haskell, Oklahoma. In 1978 he mar ried his second wife Leona. He served in the U.S. Army as corporal in the Philippines as part of the Asiatic Pacific Liberation Theater. Visitation was held at Tuesday, June 2 from noon to five and i L L. l IP . 'V . . The senior high group from Smith-Memorial Pres byterian Church will be leading it. This will be their fourth year in coming to Warm Springs. The chil dren of Warm Springs have shown a great love for this senior high group. I know this group returns the favor. So, starting June 15 to June 19, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., children from 5 to 16 years of age are welcome. The location is the Presbyterian Church on the campus across from the IHS Clinic. Everyone have a safe, fun, month of June. Pastor Rick Wednesday, May 27 at 4 p.m. at Simnasho Longhouse with overnight services following. The burial ser vices were held Thursday, May 28 at sunrise at Simnasho Cemetery. Larry Dick and Pierson Mitchell officiated the services. Survivors include his son Cody Lesina of Madras, his mother, Arlene M. Barry of Warm Springs, his brothers; Dan Schroederof Portland, Buzz Berry and Lee Michael of Warm Springs and sister Diane Anderson Tufti of Warm Springs. Wyatt Wednesday, June 3 from 10 a.m.to 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial services were held Thursday, June 4 at 1 1 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Madison and J in Madras, com mittal was held at Ml Jefferson Memorial Park in Madras officiated by Reverend Todd Unger. Survivors include his wife Leona Wyatt of Madras, his daughters; Margo Meek of Hudson, Ohio, Karen Trucke of Salem, and Kristine Olson of Roseburg, his son; Jim Wyatt of Madras, his sister, Mary Wyatt of Carnegie, Oklahoma, and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Rose in 1977 and his brother Jake in 1975. V
