Health Profession Preparatory Scholarship Program: This pro- !;ram provides financial assistance or Indian students ONLY t o enroll in courses that will prepare them for acceptance into health professions schools. Courses may be cither compensatory (required to improve sciences, mathematics, or other ba sic skills and knowledge) or prcprofcssional (Required in order to qualify for admission into a health professionals program). In order for an applicant to be considered for section 103 funding duringthe 1992-93cycc4hcshcmust be accepted by andor be enrolled in a program beginning in Fall 1992 for one of the following priority categories: l.Pre-Accouniing;2,Pre-Engineering; 3. Pre-Medical Technology; 4. Pre-Nursing; 5. Pre Pharmacy; 6. Pre-Physical Therapy; 7. Pre-Sanitation. Health Professions Pregraduate Scholarship Program: This pro gram provides financial support for Indian students ONLY to enroll in courses leading to a baccalaureate degree in specific prcprofcssional areas. For the 1992-93 cycle, an ap plicant must be accepted by andor enrolled in a program beginning in Fall 1992 for one of the following priority career categories: 1. Pre Dentistry 2. Pre-Mcdicinc. Health Professions scholarship Program: This program provides fi nancial support to Indian students ONLY who arc enrolled in health professions and allied health profes sions programs. For the Health Pro fessions Scholarship Program, there are service obligations and payback requirements that the recipient incurs upon acceptance of this particular scholarship.
