Health improves Improving her overall general health and controlling her blood pressure and cholesterol are just a few of the benefits of exercise for Margaret Buckland, Recreation's exerciser of the month for December. Margaret has been exercising on a semi-regular basis since 1983. She currently enjoys aerobics, the stairsteps and walking. Who and what motivated her to become involved in an exercise program were Eva Montce, Julie Mitchell and Lucinda Green and the staff at Serenity Lane Treatment Center in Eugene. Exer cise is part of my recovery program. It's part of my new lifestyle, says Margaret Margaret's goal is to "keep her heart active, but rest when I need to. Regardless of my physical limita tions, I gain energy to work and play." Her one stumbling block is not being consistent, but a quick call to Lucinda encourages her and gets her back on track. Margaret says that if she had absolutely no limitations, she would ride a bicycle and ski. Her words of wisdom to others for Indian scholarship program Danehy is a recent graduate of the University of New Mexico. Lynette Charlie, a member of the Navajo tribe from Tuba City, Arizona began working for NASF in Febru ary of 1990. The recruiters will be responsible for the identification of high poten- to Bulldogs scoring for the Buffs with a 23 point effort, many of them from offensive rebounds giving the Buffs the second shot under their own basket. With the return of Ryan Boyle who contributed 17 points for the Buffs and a 15 point surge from Scott Moses was not enough for the Buffs to get the lead away from the host Baker team. Harris added 4 points, Lief Suppah 2, Shane Barnes 1. Scoring for Baker was Baxter 25, Doherty 1 3, Claushiler 12, Depue 10, Ultenrenther 6, Brown 1. The loss gives the Buffs a 1-1 record in league play. Vehicle Pool policy noted Portions of the Vehicle Pool Policy will appear in the next two issues of Spilyay Tymoo.
