Bowling tournament very
To the editor,
The 16th Annual Indian Holiday
Bowling Tournament, held Decem
ber 27, 28, & 29, 1991, has once
again had a successful year. This
year's tournament was held in
memory of "Doris Ann Wolfe", a
long-time bowler in the Warm
Springs Leagues. The family of Doris
contributed to the success of the
tournament by donating four jackets
that went to the women's team
champions: The Wide Spot Pound
ers Joni David, Shirley Sanders,
Missy David, and Allee Jackson, the
family also donated two Pendleton
blankets to the high individual
handicap series to Missy David with
a 692 and Satch Miller with a 744.
Nice Bowling!
The committee would like to
thank the family of Doris for their
time, effort, and help with this year's
tournament. We realize that having
any memorial is a hard thing to do
and we would like to thank the fam
ily for their donations, support, and
participation in the tournament.
Before we get any further, we the
tournament committee, would like
to thank the following: Pelton Lanes
and staff for use of their lanes, their
cordial attention to the tournament
needs, and giving assistance in any
way they could to help make a suc
cessful tournament. Thank you Pelton
Lanes!
Tournament Committee members:
Gene Greene, Sr., Norene Greene,
and Margie Tuckta for working re
ally hard at the tournament desk to
keep up with all the bowling events
and entries and always being ready
for the next event
