Despite an early heavy snow -fall and traveler^ warnings for the north Central Oregon area there were many powwow par ticipants and spectators for the dedication of the addition to the Simnasho Longhouse and the I m im pow w ow . ....•fhe minr^powwow is norm ally held duringThanksgiving w eek end at the Agency Longhouse Bùi this year the committee was asked to hold it a week early to join the Simnasho people in the dedication of the new addition to the Longhouse. It was the first time the powwow was held àt Simnasho and according to committee person Mona Jim the powwow will be held next year at the Agency Longhouse on Thanksgiving weekend.
