yard. He/she will check to see that things are the way
you left them.
If something is different, or suspicious, it is reported
to the supervisor and investigated.
WHEN YOU RETURN: We will cancel the house
patrol once you are back home and contact us about
it.
IMPORTANT: We can’t guarantee that nothing will
happen while you’re away. Intruders are less likely to
intrude, though, and the officer pays attention to little
things before they get big.

departments around the state do not?

being away, knowing that a “ house check” has been
filed with your police department.
