Bulldogs run into stone wall A win is a win, as coaches say, but to get in gear is another thing some team s have trouble with. On Friday night the Nyssa Bulldogs came to tow n for a game o f basketball with the Travelers win Bloodrunners tourney sure in the second half of the game and as the game proceeded| the Buck’s momenturii and team work began to crumble. Suppah said th at the Travel- ers and the Bucks “seem to take turns defeating each other at the various tournam ents in which they participate throughout the country.” Team w ork and play ers’abilities won the champion« ship title for the team and it gave players and team a num ber of aw ards. Reuben Seymour, Travelers, was awarded the “most, assists” trophy; Joe Holmes; Travelers, was the high scorer for the tournament; Rick Holmes received the- “ m ost valuable p la y e r” b eaded buckle; and Tracey Otis and Kevin Little- george. Travelers, were named to the all-star team. O thers nam ed to the All-Star team were: Willie Stacona. W.S. Girls take lead After the first night jitters were all put aside the Saturday night game with Vale came a little easier as they beat the Vik ings 50-33.
