Howlak Tichum Joyceline Sutterlee Ortiz Joyceline Sutterlee Ortiz, 43 of Warm Springs, died June 25, 1982 at her residence in West Hills. She was born February 24, 1939 in Warm Springs. She lived moct of her life in Warm Springs. She married Joseph Ortiz on December 21. 1962, who preceded her in death on September 20, 1967. She was an enrolled member o f th e W a rm S p r in g s C onfederated Tribes. She attended school in Warm Springs and Madras. Surviving Joyce are her m o th e r A lic e S w itz le r Florendo and her step-father James Florendo Sr. of Warm Springs; a daughter Lydia Crane of Warm Springs; four sons, Bo Gene, Joey and Michael Ortiz, all of Warm Springs and Guy Gregg of W apato, Washington; four brothers, Fabian Sutterlee, Brent and James Florendo of Warm Springs and Benny S u tte r le e of H a rra h , Washington; three sisters, Toni Florendo and Joann Smith of Warm Springs and Roberta Marlin of Portland, Oregon. Dressing ceremonies were held at the Merritt Funeral Home in Wapato, Washington on Saturday June 26, 1982 at 6:30 p.m. Tribal overnight ceremonies started on June 27, 1982 at the Wapato Longhouse with Reverend Leonard Peugh of the All Indian Life Center officiating. Funeral services were held at the Wapato Longhouse on Monday, June 29, 1982 at 10 a.m. Burial followed at the Reservation C o m m n ity C e m e te ry in Wapato.
