Bike-A-Thon
To the Editor,
The St. Judes Bike-A-Thon
was a success. We had beautiful
w eather, 16 riders, eight
w alkers (including several
small children) and a very
helpful and thoughtful group
of volunteers. We made over
$700 “Riding for Terry.” I am
very pleased with its success.
I would like to extend a
personal and sincere thank you
to all those persons who helped
organize, promote and run the
Bike-A-Thon.
a
A very special thank you to
Andy Lucas who was our
M.C., the police department
and Fire and Safety for
monitoring the route and
utilities for supplying their time
and equipment.
The kids were great. Five
rode 20 miles and the rest rode
between eight and 12 miles.
Thank you all for your support.
You made it a success.
