A five-foot and Under Men’s basketball tournament will be
held this weekend at the community center. It is sponsored by the
Equality For Five-footers Athletic Association (EFFFAA).
Height will be accurately measured to the inch, as well as verified
in writing by the tournament director. Games will start at five.

Roller skating has been so successful in this community that a
team has been formed for co-ed Roller Derby competition.
Practice will take place at 3 p.m. daily, during open skating, to
simulate actual competition. To be eligible you must weigh at least
270 pounds and act mean and tough. A summer tour to western
states reservations is planned for the lucky qualifiers.

A chartered bus will deliver the local track club to Boston later
this month to run in the prestigious marathon. The club began
practice this week and anticipate tip-top performances from the
entire club. A club spokesperson stated, “This year, we’re ready.”

Three new swimming pools are near completion behind the
commuinity center ball fields. The pools will accomodate 300
swimmers with little or no supervision or sanitary restrictions.
There are minimal maintenance costs, so savings will be passed on
to the users by charging no admission. A grand opening is being
planned around a performance by the Sychronized Swimming
Ducks of Sidwalter.

Subdivision. It will be dropped

rooms aren’t being included in
the starter-homes, a secret
tribal source said, “Frankly, it’s
saving the Tribes ¿ 'lot of
m oney.” He added th at,
because the p o ttie s are
portable, the new homeowner
will have flexibility in the
design of his or her floorplan.
Potential home-buyers are
not making any moves at this
time. Apparently people are
ju st w aiting to see how
everything works out.
