The half- hour adventure dramas will be presented on five consecutive afternoons beginning at 4:00 PM, ET. (Please check your local CBS station schedule to confirm correct area broadcast time.) JOEY AND REDHAWK is the story of two 14-year-old boys from completely different back grounds who meet and resolve some of the difficulties and heartaches of growing up and dealing with the adult world as together they face harships, dangers, and challenges in the wilds of the Colorado Rockies. Tom Redhawk, a full- blooded Indian, is in conflict with older traditional Indian ways and with the white world of which he is a part when he attends a government school. Cards Of Thanks CARD OF THANKS The family of Georgiana Jackson wishes to thank the many friends who donated their gifts of love, food, flowers, cards, worship and prayer. Also, we wish to thank the Warm Springs Presbyterian Church, Reverend Bob Griffen, Reverend Allen Elston, Vic Sur- att, St. Charles Medical Center doctors and staff, Dr. Tom Creelman, Olney Patt, Sr., Alvis Smith, Sr., Andrew and Edna David, Caroline Tohet, Ada Polk, accident. Brought together by emer gency circumstances, the boys strike up a wary relationship. As they discover more about each other, however, their mutual respect increases. Alone, and in a situation requiring great cour age and strength, the boys find HOWLAK TICHUM December at the Presbyterian Church CHRISTMAS CLUB - Christmas dub will be held every Wednesday night at 7 p.m. through December 20. On December 6: The club will do pine cone art; December 13: There will be instructions in Fondue December 20: Is a surprise. Also on December 17, the church will be cutting their Christmas trees. Everyone is welcome to join in' the fun. WORSHIP - On Sunday mornings worship begins roughly at 11:00 am (very roughly). The service is informal. We meet in the fellowship room around the fire place for singing, prayer, and study. Sermons are followed by a time for discussion and an exchange of ideas concerning the morning’s message. Coffee and fellowship follow. All welcome. In the planning stages are a regular FAMILY FELLOWSHIP NIGHT which will meet as often as people are interested (perhaps twice a month or even once a week), a YOUNG ADULT GROUP oriented towards singles and couples not involved in a larger family, and a CHURCH-FAMILY “SUNDAY SCHOOL” where families will take part in learning about the Bible, Christian History, the Teachings of Jesus, Practical Theology, and anything else the group wishes to explore TOGETHER on Monday nights. This church’s ministry will be directed toward strengthening family and community relationships through the development of our relationship with God. Our programming will be structured in the hope that the spiritual dimension of our lives will find fertile soil in which to grow. I am always open to ideas and am ready to cooperate with any other program which will bear good fruit with my participation. It is my hope that many will gather at these different events TO HAVE A GOOD TIME (I hate stuffy church gatherings) in the process of growing in the knowledge and love of God and each other. Bob Griffen Interim Pastor Carlos Estrada CARLOS ESTRADA LUNA was born June 29, 1959 in Los Bajas Delejido, Mexico and died of cancer at the University of Oregon Medical School on No vember 23, 1978. He is survived by his wife Marlena Frank Estrada and one daughter Gracila both of Warm Springs. Dressing ceremonies were held November 25, 1978 at Mad ras Evergreen Chapel with Leo nard Scott and Velma Peters officiating. Prayer services were held at the Warm Springs Shaker Church on November 27, with Delbert Frank and Cecil James officiating.
