stration building now under
construction, under contract by
R.A. Chambers, and for the
past years has been employed
by the Confederated Tribes.

Springs for 3% years and quali­

family enrolled and in the near
future, her education possibili­
ties would have greater as­
sistance if she wefe adopted.

appeal procedures to be re­
turned to Warm Springs to live
with her father. The grand­
parents are Mr. and Mrs. Dan

is built. Debbie likes dolls,
Indian Dance, and sports.
Debbie’s grandmother is
Henrietta Johnson who resides
in the Seekseequa area of the
Warm Springs Reservation.
Her great-grandmother is Rose
Kuckup Kalama who is de­
ceased and is in the line of the
great Chief Albert Kuckup. Her
great-grandfather is Henry Ka­
lama, Sr., who is still living up
in the Shitike Creek area.
Her grandfather is living in
Salinas, California and is a
Yacqui Indian from Mexico.
Her parents are Vickie Still,
who is Juvenile Officer- at
WSPD, and het dad is Chris
Still who is a patrolman with
the Warm Springs Police De­
partment.
ROBERT WAYNE MACY, JR.
Born September 16, 1961 at
Prineville, Oregon, He is 15
years old, and has lived with
his parents in Warm Springs
since 1968. He is the son of
Robert W. Macy, Sr., and re­
sides with his father at Warm
Springs. His grandparents are
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Macy of
Warm Springs. His Indian
Blood Degree is 1-8.
DANIEL MARTINEZ
Born May 27, 1953. Age 23.
Indian blood degree - 7-16.
I have lived in Warm
Springs for 7% years. I’m
married to Urbana Ross Mar­
tinez and have two sons whose
names are Joel and Jacques
Martinez. I work at the Veneer
Plant as a green chain lead
man on swing shift.
I’ve served in the service
in the Marine Corp, for four
years, at which time my home
was here in Warm Springs. So
off and on I’ve worked at the
Veneer Plant for almost 4
years. I also serve my com­
munity as a« member of the
volunteer fire department. My
future plans are to return to
college to take up Diesel Me­
chanics here in Central Oregon.
My mother is Henrietta K.
Johnson who was married to
the late Raymond “ Tape”
Johnson who .w as a Paiute
Chief here at Warm Springs.
My relatives are too many to
count here in -Warm Springs.
However, my grandfather is
Henry Kalama, pnd grand­
mother is Rose Kuckup Ka­
lama who passed away in 1976.
My Aunt and Uncle are
Woody Smith, and Iris Smith
and many more throughout
Warm Springs. My great-
great-uncle is Charley Jackson.
Through the 7% years I ’ve
lived here in Warm Springs,
my love for my home here has
grown through the people here
and the reservation. I now live
in tribal housing R-14 which is
located across from Macy’s
store. I plan to live here the
rest of my life because to me,
Warm Springs is thé best place
in the world for me and my
family.
