born Sculptor Joseph Dunronyl. Dubrnnyl is the artist
who made a nude statue of Anita Ekhcrg which gained
wide-spread publicity. Dubronyl was looking around for
a new subject to make a statue of when he was introduced
to Virginia. ' Born and raised just a stone's throw from
Hollywood Blvd., Virginia is married to Bennett Michael
I)c Lee, her business manager. For those still Interested,

Coquillc, and Robert Duncan,
Mcdford, warned against "non
essential services."
Barton, chairman of the House
Tax Committee, said the society's
budget request .should stay in
Ways and Menus until the slate
knows how much money it wilt
need for operations in the next
two years.
"If we do happen to wind up
with sVime surplus funds," Harlot!
said, "then I'll go along with the
non-essential services."
Duncan, a member ot the Ways
and Means Committee, said he
was "surprised and shocked" hy
the society's request, which is
more than double its current hi
ennium appropriation.
Duncan said lie opposed the ap
propriation, in Ways and Means
because "it seems a poor lime to
be expanding services ot this
type."
Rep. W. II. Ilolslrom (D). Gear-
hart, who asked that the bill be
sent back to Ways and Means,
said the major part of the re
quested increase was for three ad
ditional employes.

Kep. It. E. Schdeen (D), Gresh-
am, introduced a hill Wednesday
to prohibit a retailor (rum limit
ing tiie quantities of merchandise
that can he bought by a customer.
The bill also would prohibit the
retailer from compelling a cus
tomer to buy articles other than
those that are on sale, and the
retailer would he compelled to sell
his entire slock of any article be
ing sold at reduced price.
