Spiced Grapefruit
Drain 2 cans grapefruit sections.
Pour grapefruit syrup into sauce
pan, boil rapidly 2 minutes. Add
U cup firmly packed brown sugar,
a teaspoon whole cloves and hi
teaspoon nutmeg: simmer 5 min
utes. Remove from heat; add
grapefruit sections. Serve hot or
chilled. Six servings.

caps with a blend of 1 can (5-ounce
size) of chicken spread and 1 to 2
tablespoons prepared French
dressing, thinned as desired with
light cream. Makes about t cup
and is good on melba toast squares
too.
Cranberry Mold

a good mold salad using them.
Spicy Cranberry Mold '
1 lb. jellied cranberry sauc
Vi teaspoon whole allspice j
6 whole cloves f
1 stick (1 inch) cinnamon j
1 package cherry flavored j
gelatine
'j cup canned orange juico
i cup celery, chopped
1 can tt lb., 4 oz.) crushed
pineapple, well drained
Heat and stir cranberry sauc
over medium heat until melted.
Add spices; simmer for five min
utes. Remove spices.
Dissolve gelatine in liquid
from pineapple. Add orange juico
and cranberry sauce. Cool until
slightly thickened. Fold in celery
and crushed pineapple. Chill un
til firm. Makes 12 servings.
