After his leave Kautz reports to the Mill Valley, California, Air i Station. h Two Air Force men enlisted October 3 under the "Buddy" system, "which permits tem to train together, are home on leave and January 5 report to Fair child AFB, Wash. The men are Ronald J. Brozek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Brozek of 1150 East McGilchrist street, and Neal P. Kleinsmith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred A. Kleinsmith of 4(i0 South 16th street. The men com pleted their Basic at Parks AFB, Calif. Army man here for the holi days is Sp-3 Troy Archer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Archer of 2035 Kansas street. Archer, in the service for almost three years, is stationed at Fort Ben rung, Ga. ANDERSON GRADUATES FORT BELVOIR, Va. Pvt. Matt R. Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward H. Anderson, route 4, Salem, was recently graduated .from the eight-week map com piling course at the Engineer .school here. Anderson, a 1954 graduate of Salem high school, was employed by the Oregon Stale Board of Forestry before entering the Army last July. Re-enlists FORT LEWIS The "kick-off" of a drive to encourage men of the Second division to re-enlist for their present position was marked by the re-enlistment of a Salem, Ore., sergeant, Master Sgt. Donald R. Olsen, son of Mrs. Johanna A. Olson, 1246 North Liberty Street, Salem. The ser geant, the first man to re-enlist ' after the drive started, is a vet eran of 13li years of service.
