Smith, 82-ycar-old native of Grande Ronde. who died recently, was well known resident of this community for many years. Mill City MILL CITY The North San tium Chamber of Commerce held lis monthly meeting at the Mill City High School recreation room Wednesday evening. Oliver Willis, president of the organization presided at the bus iness meeting. The next meeting of the group will be Sept. 15 at Mehama. Luther Stout acted as program chairman -and Intro duced Lynn Cronemlller, assist ant state forester. Topic of his talk was "Remember"; tracing hiFtoric forest fires.
