Frozen Spinach and
Crab Meat Dish

tion with crab.
Froien Spinach and Crab
Heat Casserole
1 package frozen spinach
I cup crab meat
1 can tomato paste .
1 cup prepared soar cream
J: teaspoon nutmeg
Vi pound sharp cheese, grated
v.t cup diced onion
; 1 teaspoon salt
' Following package direction's,
eook spinach for just 1 minute;
drain well. Combine all ingred
fonts with drained spinach and
place in 2-quart casserole. Heat
In oven. Temperature. 350. Time,
20 to 30 minutes. Amount, 4 to 6
servings.

Here is an easy way of prepar
ing curried rice:
Curried Rice ,
Ingredients1: 1 cup converted
type rice, 3 tablespoons butter or
margarine, Vi teaspoon curry pow
der, Vt teaspoon salt.
Method: Cook rice according to
directions on package. Melt but
ter or margarine over low heat;

1 cup tomato juice

SHRIMP
FRIED RICE
1 Lb. Fresh Raw Shrimp
1 Stalk Celery (Chopped)
1 Tablespoon Green
Pepper (Chopped)
1 Onion (Chopped)
5 Cups Steamed Rice
(Cold)
2 Eggs
V4 Cup Mushrooms
Wash end shell shrimp.
Break Into small pieces. Fry
until half done, add onion,
celery, green pepper, mush
rooms, mixing together un
til almost cooked. Add rice,
salt, pepper and soy sauce
to taste (or serve soy sauce
separately). Break eggs in
to rice, turn and mix well
until eggs are cooked.
Serves 6 persons.

Recently there was developed
a way of blending these two
cheeses, a very tasty hor d'oeurve i
dish. It is ideal for serving, be
ing one of those where, sucsts
help themselves.
Roquefort Camembert Mousse
(Makes enough for a 1-pint mold)
1 tablespoon (I envelope) ,
. unllavored gelatine
y cup cold water . .
2 (lVa-oz.) triangles ..."
Camembert cheese
3 (ly-oz.) packages Roquefort
cheese
1 teaspoon Worcestershire
sauce
1 egg, separated
Vi cup heavy cream
Soften gelatine in cold water.
Let stand 5 minutes. Dissolve
gelatine over hot water. Blend
Camembert and Roquefort cheese
together until smooth. Beat in
Worcestershire sauce and egg
yolk. Add dissolved gelatine. Beat
egg white until stiff. Whip cream.
tFold egg white and whipped
i cream into cheese mixture. Four
into a 1-pint mold. Chill until
firm. Unmold onto platter and
surround with crisp crackers or
salty rye bread slices.

Method
Cut the chicken into serving
