Power Energy Output Increases in Nation NEW YORK W Electrical energy distributed last week to taled 8,438,000,000 kilowatthours, an increase of 6.9 per cent over the 7,897,000,000 kilowatthours sent over the wires in the same wk a yar ago. Others winning red ribbons were Patricia Hudec and Judy Hopkins on tea table setting and Darlene Bettleyoun on cookies. Receiving thirds were Nancy Keyser and Patricia Hudec on SDonee cake: Barbara Ream, cookies, and Linda Arncrt, muf fins. Mrs. Ethel Ramus was art and health leader and Mrs. James Hudec and Mrs. Virgil Burson cooking club leader. Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius C. Bale son were given the first and sec ond degree obligations at the Grange meeting held Friday night Reports were made by Mrs. Cornelius Bateson on home eco nomic work, on legislature by Hubert Aspinwall and M. M. Ma gee, and agriculture by Harry Martin, Jr., and Clarence John son. , Mr. and Mrs. Clarence John son were elected alternates to the state Grange convention. The upper classes of the grade school will, have their picnic at Silverton park while the primary grades will picnic on the home grounds.
