Chicago Grain
CHICAGO li Most grains had
a steady tone on the board of trade
Thursday but gains were not large.
Mill buying and export business
gave the market support. Presi
dent Eisenhower's message to Con-
Kress appeared to have little in-
flupnce on orice trends.
Some grain men ten we .-res
ident's message was bullish be
cause of the plan to "freeie" pres
ent surplus supplies. But there was
no rush to buy. Bullish enthusiasm
was tempered by the Presidents
request lor a flexible price support
system.
