Frank Lenier wes captured
by the Russians while with
the German army In 1944. His
family did receive cards from
him from time to time until
three years ago when last
word was received, end be
was presumed to be dead.
Mr. and Mrs. Lenzer, with
three sons, William, Fred, and
Steve, came to the United
States and direct to Mount
Angel in 1850, and reaida in
their home on College street.
Fred Lenzer is now serving
with the V. S. Army.
