Cherry Industry To Hold Meeting Raising and processing of cherries will be subjects of dis cussion during a meeting called for 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23 at the Dairy Co-op building, 2139 lairgrounda road. The speakers will Include Dr. John Hilbrath, plant pathologist ef OSC and Dr. Quentin Zielln- ski, associate hortlculturalist The latter will discuss "The ef fects of growth regulators on cracking and ether cherry pro duction problems." Albany General Bueal Tan ner of Harrlsburg pleaded guilty In district court to a charge of having a still on his premises to gether with a quantity ef moon shine whiskey, and was sentenc ed by Judge Wendell Tompkins to 80 days in the county jail end fine of $100.
