Appeal Heard on Yets Bonus Protests Out of the 80,500 Oregon vet erans who have received bonus Checks, 252 have lodged pro- tests and their appeals are be ing heard, the State Veterans Affairs Department said Wed nesday. Over TOO complained that the size of their checks were too small, but virtually all of these withdrew their complaints after being sent a copy of the Oregon bonus law.
