And there's nothing more embarrassing than a septic tank that doesn't work! Usually there are two reasons why they stop-up and overflow first, because the tanks are not cleaned at proper intervals; secondly, toilet tissue that does not readily disintegrate may clog the drains and force them to back up1 Few toilet tissues are mad with the septic tank problem in mind. The one that is MD Toilet Tissue is scientifically processed so that it absorbs water completely and quickly. Try it in a glass of water and see for yourself. Spraying Begins For Budworm Oregon's forestry department Wednesday started spraying its forests for budworm and expect ed the project to be well under way by Friday or Saturday. Three airplane loads were sprayed on the areas around El gin, Ore., Wednesday, but they were unable to get more than that on the forests at that time because of shortage of equip ment. State men and biologists of the bureau of entomology have been watching the budworm to catch it in the proper stage, but spite the careful watch the worms came out sooner than ex pected and operators who were to do the spraying did not have their equipment on the site. Equipment was moved in im mediately, however, and spray ing got underway to catch the worm. The state d part men t this year will treat approximately 366,000 acres with the cost of the work about one dollar an acre. In all there will be approximately 640,000 acres of infected forest area in Oregon sprayed, with the U. S. Forest Service spraying that not done by the state for estry department.
