Salem Girl Wed July 1 In Albany Albany Miss Garland LaVon Worrell, Salem, daughter of Mrs Charles Worrell, DavenDort Iowa, was wed to Archie-Oscar McCrae, Eugene, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest S. McCrae, Albany, on Saturday, July 1, at 8 o'clock In the evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Henningsen, 1125 Jefferson street, Salem. The Rev. C. E. Brickwedel offi ciated at the single ring aere mony. The bride wore a navy blue nylon dress with white accessor ies. Her corsage was a white orchid. Mrs. Arnold Meyer was the bride's only attendant and she wore an afternoon dress of rose crepe and her corsage was of pink rosebuds and white freesia Fred Swartz was best man. Lighting the candles, preced ing the ceremony, was Arnold Meyer.: Witnessing the ceremony were relatives and a few close friends l of the bridal couple. .ft For her son's wedding, Mrs, McCrae chose an afternoon dress of gray crepe with pink accessories and a corsage of pink carnations and white sweet peas. The wedding vows were ex changed as the bridal party stood before the fireplace, which was banked with palms, pink and white gladioluses, sweet peas, pom pon Shasta daisies, and lighted candles. An informal reception was held following the ceremony. Pink and white flowers were used about the rooms. The bride's table was centered with a large tiered wedding cake, white candles in crystal candle holders and cut flowers. Mrs. Arnold Meyer served the wedding cake, Mrs. Inga Bever presided at the punch bowl and Mrs. Jack Henningsen passed the bridegroom's cake. Mr. and Mrs. McCrae left on a wedding trip to southern Oregon. For traveling the bride wore a navy blue suit with red and white accessories and com pleting her costume was a white orchid,;, worn pinned to her shoulder. ' Mr. and Mrs. McCrae will make their home in Eugene. ; MEETING Friday will be the Neighbors of Woodcraft at 8 p.m. at the Salem Woman's club house. There will be a business session with a social following. Theta Rho Chapter Installs Officers Officers of Theta Rhn TJo Iota chapter, were installed July 8 at the IOOF hall with Beta Epsilon, No. 53, from Jefferson taking charge of the installation ceremony. A no-host dinner fol lowed.
