This is the responsibility of 16th imperial coupncil session, primary administrative task is the election of one officer, the Imperial outer guard. In 11 years the outer guard advances step by step to the of fice of imperial potentate, and thus considerable interest at taches to the election. There re two candidates, Dr. Clayton F. Andrews, past potentate of Sesostris Temple, Lincoln, Neb., nd George A. Mattison, Jr., past potentate of Zamora Temple, Birmingham, Ala. Upon announcement of the new outer guard, Deputy Im perial Potentate Hubert M. Po teat of Wake Forest, N.C., auto matically succeeds Harold Lloyd Is imperial potentate for the ensuing year. The conclave closes Thursday night, but Detroit's delegation will start home shortly after midnight. Approximately 12,500 delegates are expected to board 60 trains for their homes be tween 6:40 p.m. Thursday and 8 .m. Friday (PDT). Henderson who was born in Pocahontas, Ark., has a mother and brother living in Ventura, Calif.
