For a week after Kenneth's de
parture there was a precarious truce
between Prlscllla and her mother-in-law.
Finally a letter came from
Kenneth addressed to his wife.
Prlscllla found the letter on the
table in the living-room and took
it to her room to read. It wa. lust

down the steps light-heartedly to
convey the message to Mrs. Kent.
