Anna Ellis of Garibaldi and Mrs. Georae King of Boise, Idaho, formerly of Salem, will be the guests of honor this eve nine when Mrs. Paul H. Mauser entertains with a buffet dinner. Spring flowers will form the centerpiece of the attractive serving table and also crace the small dinner table where the guests will be sealed. Mrs. Emil Otjen Presides at Session Mrs. Emil Otjen presided at the regular session of the Sa lem Rebckah lodge Monday evening. A very impressive reremony was put on by Mrs. R. G. White Shrine in Session Monday Monday evening was advance night for Willamette Shrine No. 2, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. Mrs. Willis E. Brown, noble profhetcss, and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne D. Henry, associate watchman of shep herds, presided during the open ing services. The worthy high priestess, Mrs. Albert C. Smith, and the watchman of shepherds. Willis C. Brown, were escorted to the east. Miss Edna McElhaney and Miss Mary B. Sayles were host esses for the Valentine party which followed the regular meeting. Games were enjoyed. The colors of red andvellow were used about the rooms, a bouquet of red carnations and yellow daffodils centering the head table in the dining room and guarded by red and yellow tapers in crystal holders. The March meeting will con vene at 4 o'clock March Ifl and will recess for a no-host dinner at 6 o'clock for a ceremonial, when several new members will receive the degrees of the White Shrine. Legislative Night Interesting Event Legislative night was featur ed at Ihe regular meeting of American Legion auxiliary Mon day evening. Mrs. Albert C. Gragg. for the legislative com mittee. Paul Hendricks of Mar ion county discussed proposed state and national legislation on u n i versa I m i 1 i t a ry t ra i n i ng.
