Hosts for the affair were Evan Boise, Joseph Healy and Kay Huntington. The hall was banked with quince, for sythia and flowering plum. A large fishnet was suspended over the ceiling with bright colored balloons attached. Miss Paulie Wallace and Miss Janey Car son had charge of the punch table. Neeland in Oak street, Miss Edith M. Wendelln became the bride of Paul W. Sheldon. The couple exchanged their vows before a fireplace banked with flowering ' plum ond qulnco with Dr. R. Franklin Thompson performing the ceremony. .The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Wendelln of Avoca, Wisconsin, and her husband is the son of Mr, and Mrs. Walter R. Sheldon of Pendleton. The bride wore a sclf-plald suit of pastel green with a long torso Jacket and brown accessories. She carried a bouquet of Talis man roses and forsythla. . Miss Eleanor Jean Larson was Miss Wen delln's only attendant. Miss Larson wore a blue suit with black accessories. She car ried a bouquet of red roses. Edgar Sheldon wos best man for his brother. A small reception followed the ceremony. The table wast ornamented with silver can delabra containing pink candles, and center ed with the bride's cake. , The bride Is a graduate of St. Mary's . hospital In Rochester, Minn., and Is now on the nursing staff of the Deaconess hospital. Mr. Sheldon Is a sophomore at Willamette university and a member of Alpha Psl Delta ' fraternity. He Is associate editor of tho Watlulah. Mr. Sheldon's parent, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sheldon motored to the capital from Pendleton for their son's marriage. Arrangements of daffodils and white stock will grace the altar. The church will be lit by candelabras containing white tapers. Professor T. S. Roberts will ploy the wedding marches, and Miss Mary Ann Brady will sing "Ave Maria" by Schubert, and "Oh Perfect Love." Miss Anunsen will be given In marriage by her father, she will be gowned in white marquisette fashioned with long bishop sleeves and a high neckline of lace, with a full skirt and court train. The shower streamers on her bouquet are from, her mother's wedding bouquet. Miss Ruth Anunsen will be her sister's xmald of honor. Her dress will be fashioned of pale blue marquisette, long walsted with a shirred bodice, a sweetheart neckline, and Bhort puffed sleeves. She will carry a co lonial nosegay, Bridesmaids will be Miss Carolyn Brady and Miss Betty Anunsen, Their dresses will be fashioned of pink mar quisette identical to that of the maid of honor. They will carry nosegays. R. G. Brady, Sr., will serve as best man for his son, and ushers will be Max Hauser of Portland, Tom Hill, Jr., Julian Wllke and Fred Anunsen, Jr. The bride's mother will wear a model of teal blue crepe with an ornamentotlon of silver and rose beads. Her corsage will be of gardenias and red roses. Mrs. Brady will wear a stunning model of blue crepe fash ioned with matching Jacket, embellished with gold beading. The latest in spring stylos will be shown starting with sports wear, including slacks, and play clothes, afternoon and street wear, and din-, ner and evening dresses. Mrs. James T. Brand; wife of Justice Brand of the Oregon supreme court, will serve as the commentator, : Models showing clothes will be Miss Nancy Austin, Miss Mary Jane Lau, Mrs. Alden Adolph, Mrs. Lawrence Anderson, Miss Patricia Lamb, and Mrs. Lil lian Vaughn. Miss Lucta Dare will be the make-up artist for the models. The proceeds from the benefit will bs given to the United Hospitality association to be used for the entertainment of soldiers in Salem or those who may be stationed here In the future. Dr. Henry E. Morris, president of the1 UHA, said that the association thus far has entertained more than 10,000 soldiers In Salem.
