Special Tribute Paid A. W. Holmes Mt. Angel, Ore., Aug. 21 A din ner in honor of Queen Elaine and her royal court with special tribute to A. W. Holmes, general chairman, closed the official celebration of the fourth annual Flax Festival last night. Father Alcuin, OSB, pre sided as toastmaster; with formal greetings extended by Mayor Jacob Berchtold. Maxlne Bernlng, queen of the festival last year, was a spe cial guest. Chaperons for the royal court and hostesses for a tea late in the afternoon were Mrs. A. W. Holmes, Mrs. A. J. Butsch and Mrs. Frank Anen.
