Directory
A "who's who" ol the Oregon Fed'
eratlon of Women'! cluba will fea
ture the directory issue of 1U own
magazine, the Oregon Clubwoman,
which will be off the press this week
and distributed to clubwomen In
every part of the state.
For the first time In several years,
the federation Is publishing a com
plete list of its member clubs, the
names and addresses of their presi
dents and secretaries, the time and
place of their meetings and the ap
proximate size of their membership.
A total of 124 organizations la in
cluded In the directory, represent
ing 63 Oregon cities and towns.
Salem clubs included are the Sa
lem Woman's club, the Salem Junior
woman's club and the Liberty Worn
an'c club.
In the listing, too, are the names
or some of the state's best-known
women leaders, who appear either
as officers of their own clubs or as
officers or chairmen of the state
federation.
As an additional feature, this first
Fall Issue of the federation mafia.
sine will contain a list of all its
own new officers, its chairmen of
departments and divisions and the
heads of its special committees.
The Oregon Clubwoman will be
published bi-monthly this year, ac
cording to Mrs. O. C. Sanford of
Coqullle, chairman of the federa
tlon's magazine committee. The next
number will appear in December.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles I. Safford
announce the engagement of their
daughter, Marjorie, and Frank Ste
phen Barlow, Jr., son of Mr. and
Mrs. F. 8. Barlow of Portland. No
date has been set for the marriage,
but It will be an event of early
spring.
Miss Safford Is well known to
members of the younger contingent
and attended Salem schools. She
Is now connected wltn the .state
forestry department,
Mr. Barlow attended the Univer
sity of Portland, where he was ac
tive m athletic circles. He is now
connected with the S.P.S. railroad.
