The program for the morning worship at 10 a. m. will be the fol lowing: Piano prelude, Miss Esther Stay ton: vocal solo, "O Come Let Us Adore Him," Felix Wright; special music, young people's choir; special Christmas sermon, "Following the Star," Rev. D. George Cole. Sunday school will meet at the regular hour, 11 a. m. In the eve- nlng at 7:30 the following program will be presented: Recitation, "Welcome," Carolyn Curtis; motion song, "Snow Song," by S. S. children; recitation, "Gol den Bells," Jerry Boyer; exercise, Christmas Bells," by Gordon George, Jacquelln Newland, Loretta Seniles, Gwenda Lynn Boyer, Nor man George; vocal solo, "The Shep herd's Lullaby," Betty Jean Alexan der; recitation, "A Christmas Song," Edward Huges; song, "Sing a Joy ful Song," children's chorus, Ruby Hughes, soloist; recitation, "The Christmas Star," Dona van Newl and; duet, "Best of All," Ruby and Margaret Hughes. Piano solo, Esther Stayton: recitation, "Christ mas Eve," Calvin Hughes; Christmas PUPILS READY FOR HOLIDAYS Stayton The pupils of St. Mary's school, Stayton, are giving a Christ mas program Sunday night at 7:30 o'clock at the school hall. The presentation of "The Madon na of the Rose," Is the main feat ure of the evening. The scene of the play Is laid In a Normandy village which Is all astir in prepara tion for the feast of Christmas and the miracle of Our Lady of the Rose. Each person is to bring a gift to the chapel of Our Lady of the Rose and the miracle will come wit and a keen understanding of human frailties. The only gift she has to offer is the gift of song the Madonna gave her the rose and as she touches It she realizes she has received hte miracle she sees the rose. , The complete program follows: piano solo, "Pas de Amphores," Ros ella Bell; Santa; chorus minims: Coals of fire; comedy; Camp of Glory, piano trio, Rosella Bell, Lor aine Albus and Helen Porter, dia logue, "The Extra Stocking"; piano solo, "Butterfly," Josephine Brandt; piano solo, "Humming Bird," Mar garet Hughes; Madonna of the Rose, scene I; piano solo, "La Cinquan talne," Pauda Smith; Madonna of the Rose, scene II. An admission of 25 cents for adults and 10 cents for children Is being charged, the proceeds to be used to help pay for new books which have been purchased for the school library. Turner WCTU Meets Turner Mrs. N. Sherman Hawk entertained the W.C.T.U, at the Methodist Episcopal parsonage for the December meeting, instead of at the home of Mrs. G. W. Fairls as the meting place was changed. The county president, Mrs. Lydla Lehman of Salem, was a special vis itor and told of the state conven- tlon and plans outlined for the HOME FROM COLLEGE Qervais Lester DeJardln has re turned from Columbia university to spend the holidays with his par ents, Mr. and Mrs. A. DeJardln. La land DeJardln who attends St. Jo seph college at Mt.
