PICNIC IS RUINED Silverton Miss Prances Ttiomp son was rushed to the Silverton General hospital Thursday night and submitted to an emergency op eration for the removal of her ap pendix. Miss Thompson was to have held a picnic with the pupils and patrons of her school Friday, the closing day. Her condition was re norted ns satisfactory.
