Insist upon local dealers buying
esgs on a "loss-off" or quality basis,
advises the United States Depart
ment of Agriculture. Under the loss
off plan, which -has come into in
creasing use in the last few years,
no payment is made for eggs which
are unfit for food, and a difference,
based on quality, may be made in
the price paid for good eggs.
Who could Resist?
, Little Johnny had just finished a Downy
flake Doughnut and the remembrance of
that delightful taste, with its velvet-like tex
ture, its crispy coating, is proving too much
for him. But could anyone resist Downy
flake deliciousness?
Even little Mary is looking to see if the
"coast is clear" so that she can "help her
self to a Downyflake. Wait until she finds
out that one is already gone.
Downyflake Doughnuts are made from
the verv best of health
ents, such as eggs, sugar, milk and the
like. They are produced by a machine
which performs the entire doughnut task'
f and delivers the finished doughnuts into
a basket untouched by human hands,
