their daughter, Mary, became the
bride of Lowell M, Gardner, Ho v.
C. A. Hartley, uncle of the groom
and paetor of the First Frteudfl
church of Portland, officiated.
The rooms wore attractively
decorated in keeping with the
Christmas 6rtaon and the couple
took their places under a beautl
ful canopy of tinsel, Christmas
bells and greens. The ring cere
mony was used. Mrs. Bell BadJoy
of Portland played the-wedding
march.
The brldo was lovely In a gown
of white satin back" crepe trimmed
In bands of whlto fur. She car
ried a shower bouquet of pink rose
buds and narcltwl.
Following the ceremony re
freshments were served. Ices were
