The YMCA Junior load ere defeat ed the Whlttman pioneers by a core of 12 to 8. The Hutcheonej Independents defeated the First Methodist Comrades by a score of 13 to 11 and the Parrieh Juniors von over the Jason Lee Pioneers 16 to 7. In the first game Whttmnn led at the end of the first half, but excellent shooting by M. Goode, captain of the leaders put them Into the lead. Captain Hutcheons was the out standing man for the Independ ents, scoring 12 of the 13 points lor hie team. The Comrades were unable to show much ability in scoring although they had a pow. srful defense. The Parrieh Juniors had a fast, shifty five and won by pretty team work, rather than weight.
