men were given employment
through the efforts of the local
employment bureau operated at
the Y. M. C. A. here during the
week endi'g today, it was report
ed this afternoon. One hundred
thirteen men asked for work, and
45 men were requested by em
ployers. Twenty-one women ask
ed for work, and two were re
quested. Practically all the ac
tivity among the men was among
common laborers. The two wo
men employed were hotel and res
taurant workers.
