The workers who are preparing for
tho health clinic which will open
here Tuesday of next week report
that thoy aro meotlng with en

tiie mothers. A committee is at
work this week In securing the con
sent of tlie mothers to have their
children attend the clinic. With the

Silverton Tuesday. At this time all
of the pupils In the North. Side
school will be examined. On Wed
nesday the examinations will be

sive, will be. examined. Another
clinic will be held for the older
grades after the .holiday. A number
of mothers have expressed the

second team will meet the Wash
ington high school, seconds of Port
land on the Chemawa grounds. The
Indians second team has a strong
aggregation and are in hopes of
taking the Portland team into
camp.
The Indians first team will not
play this week as they are resting
up for their game with tho Co
lumbia university, of Portland,
when they meet Novombor 7th, on
the Columbia gridiron. The first
team has had a strenuous sched
ule so far this season with practi
cally no vacation and are in need
of a rest.

son, two stars are out of the Ind

they are In hopes of being- able to

son hurt his ankle in kicking prac

game and has had trouble with it
