LAMENT PASSING OF
TRUE FEMININE FIGURE
Chicago, Oct. 12 (AP) The
passing of the true feminine fiprure
was lamented today by Wellington
J. Reynolds, famous nrtl-st and In
structor nt the Art Institute. He
decried the tendency toward boy
ishness. .
"All the models aro just about
the same.
"Shoulders no longer slope grace
fully; they nre snuaro and broad.
Women's hips have narrowed and
narrowed.
"Styles are largely responsible
for the change In women's np
pcarance. And the rare girl who
possesses the distinctly feminine
type of figure seems trf consider
her charms a disgrace, she'll even
starve herself so that she can look
like a two by four."
