The visitors drew first blood when they scored, two runs to take the lead on Ashby a wlldneas. Ash by passed the first three men filling the bases. Edwards started to put Bishop Jn the box then but Ashby wanted to Btay In and Edwards let him. The next man up singled and the bases were still loaded with one run across and no out. Schrunk was caught off of second for the first out. Btolzenberg singled and Green tallied. Preston hit Into double play. The Senators went out In order In their half of the first but scor ed seven runs In their part of the econd. Keene first man up got a walk, II el n hart walked, Coleman got a fielder's choice while White tried to throw Keene out at third but all hands weer safe and the bases loaded with no one out. Quia enberry singled and Keene scored. Edwards got a nice hit over sec ond and Ileinhnrt and Coleman tallied. Quissenbcrry went to third Bishop walked, sending Edwards to second, filling the bases again. Bouton sent a sacrifice fly to cen terfteld and Qulseenberry scored. Proctor was safo on second when Btolzenberg dropped his fly. Ed wards crossing the plate. Bishop scored on Green's error when he threw wild to second. Proctor also scored on the error and Maples go ing to third. Keene up for the sec ond time of the Innlog flow out to left field. Relnhart 'fanned. The visitors annexed another run In their part of the third. Green singled and stole second and cored a minute later on Preston's double. The Senators scored once In the fourth. Bouton singled and went to Becond when Maples walk ed. Keene singled and Bouton went to third and scored on Cole man's hit. The Independence nine cored two more runs In the fourth Hill was safe at second on Bouton's error. Ray doubled and Hill scor ed. Green doubled and Rny scored. In their half of the fifth the locals cored two runs. Qulssenberry was Bafe on shortHtop'B error. Ed wards went out at first. Qulssen berry went to third on a passed ball. Bishop Blngled and Qulfwen toerry scored. Bouton got a field er's choice while Green threw Bishop out at second. Bouton start ed to steal and Shrunk threw wild to second letting htm go to third. Proctor singled and Bouton scored Proctor went to third and Maples to first on shortstop's error. Keene Hay lib 3 walked to fill the bases but Rein hart fanned to end the Inning. Coleman got a hit In the sixth and went to second on Qulnsen berry's single. Edwards -and Bish op flew out. Bouton doubled and Coleman scored. This ended the scoring for the Senators. In the seventh the visitors got one more run across when Preston hit over the left field fence for homer. They scored their final two In the ninth frame. Schrunk sing led. Btolzenberg flew out to Adolph who went In for Keene In the ninth Inning. Preston hit bis sec ond homer of the game over the left field fence scoring Schrunk ahead of htm. White singled, Omar ra got a hit and White went to sec ond. Baker, hitting for Fisher was safe at first on Adolph's error. The ball went to the stands and White tried to ecore, Adolph getting the ball In time to throw him out at the plate. O'Marra went to third on the play. Hill fanned to end the game. The Senators were a little out classed by Graham Sharkey In the driving exhibition although Schack, man beat him in the first drive.
