An Innova tion in co-operative vocational education will be Inaugurated In the Dallas high school this year according to announcement ol II. R, Turner, superintendent of schools, today. This will be the starting of a eon rue in machine Hhlp work for a limited class of boys at the Dallas Machine & Lo comotive Works under supervision of a competent Instructor. The Willamette Valley company has been operating two and three logging train0, a day from their camp Into Dallas, all of them coming In over the destroyed bridge and the Southern Pacific branch line Into Dallas. t Is f-Htirnated something over $2000 will be required to put the, bridge back into condition to op erate logging trains over It. GAIL HOTEL AT Dallas, Or., Aug. S. The Gail hotel, leading Dallas hostelry, changed hands tine week with H L. Lowe of Portland coming to take charge. The deal lnvoves the hotel management and the fur ulture and fixtures, but not the binding. Mr. Lowe has been operating the Campbell Hill residential hotel in Portland for the past year. A fj. Harrison, former proprietor of the Gail, goe to Portland through the deal and takes charge of the Campbell Hill hotel. Mr. Harri son has been in Dallas about year and a half. Frank Neimyer, who escaped from the state hospital last week, was recaptured nt his home here Tuesday and taken back to Salem.
