The first attempt to bold an election failed because of lack of quorum. The election will be held at 7:30 o'clock at the Richmond school and efforts are being made to get out a material representation from among property holders oi the dititrlct in order to assure an election and get organization un der way. As far as known no slate has been picked, although it Is known ,i number of land owners in the district who are opposed to the plan have sugecsted tho name of K. V. Durbin as a director. Dur bin was the main remonstrator against the district und these land owners believe that with his elec tion and that of two others op posed to the plan, the district may bring about dissolution proceed ings and block the work entirely. , A vote an acre Is allowed at the meeting. Fractional acres must vote by proxy, as fractional acre holders may join together in Buch ii manner as to add their fraction al holdings up into acre units to permit of voting.
